New- VIP Organic Vineyard Tours and Sit-down Tastings
Summer safaris in Mendocino County. Trek with us through our vineyards; learn about organic grape growing and spot local wild life. Depending on the timing, you can assist with vineyard projects, such as releasing lady bugs or measuring grape sugars, then enjoy a private tasting of our library wines as well as current releases with tasty appetizers. Wear sensible shoes and we'll provide the binoculars...

Sweet Malbec is Back This Week!
|
We're releasing our 2009 Sweet Malbec; the first since our 2006 vintage.
We believe that Malbec makes a terrific wine when kept a bit sweet (less than half of the residual sugar of a typical late harvest wine). You'll notice the sparkle in the wine and a little spritz on the tongue. The idea is a wine to go with a biscotti or macaroons at four in the afternoon. A very limited quantity of this special wine was produced. NOTE: To prevent any confusion - this is not our regular Malbec varietal. |

Sat. Aug. 14 — 8th Annual Yorkville Highlands Wine Festival from 2-6pm at Meyer Family Cellars, Mile Marker 34.2 in Yorkville. Taste more than 40 wines, enjoy music, grape stomp, food and support our local volunteer fire department through a silent auction. Thurs. Sep 16 — 26th Anniversary Coastal Cleanup Day Celebration at the Aquarium of the Bay at Pier 39, San Francisco 6:30-9pm.
