Thanking a Fire-fighter!
Edward with Sarah, the volunteer captain of the Yorkville Station of the Anderson Valley Fire Department (and Yorkville Hi-Rollr wine club member) in quieter days. With as many as 131 fires still burning in Mendocino County alone, Sarah and all the other voluteers have been extremely busy. Please consider helping to support our local volunteers by attending the 5th Annual Yorkville Highlands Wine Festival, as the fire department is a main beneficiary of this non-profit event.
Here at Yorkville Cellars, we have been spared the worst with the nearest blazes about 20 miles away. Even so, there were a few days where we could not see the hills less than one mile accross the valley.
