The latest in our series of specials to celebrate our 10th anniversary August and we find ourselves enjoying even more glasses of Sauvignon Blanc than normal. Our oldest vineyard and our flagship wine, more often than not we start our evenings together with S.B.
Our 2002 Sauvignon Blanc is crisp, aromatic and full-bodied, benefiting from the barrel-fermenting and ageing. The wine judges have been kind; including Silver Medals at the S.F. Chronicle Competition and The World Wine Market. Our S.B. normally retails for $14 a bottle. We initially thought we'd discount it a couple dollars. And then we realized that wouldn't be very consistent with our stated goal eight months ago that "It's our 10th Birthday... but you get the presents all year long." Since we read recently that less than 4% of businesses started in the U.S. last in order to celebrate their 10th anniversary and it only comes once, we looked at each other and said, "Okay, $10." Great wine is meant to be shared! So to celebrate with our best friends and most loyal customers, this month's special is: 2002 Sauvignon Blanc $10. 2002 Sauvignon Blanc case of 12 for $120.
