15 Years Service at Yorkville!
Greg Graziano is a third generation Mendocino
County winemaker. In the mid 1970's Greg attended the University
of California, Davis* to study viticulture and enology. When
he was only twenty-two Greg became a founding partner and winemaker
of Milano Winery in Hopland, California. While he was winemaker
at La Crema in the mid 1980's his wines were served at The White
House and at the Moscow Summit. In 1988 Greg and his wife, Trudi,
established their own winery. Under the name, Graziano Family
of Wines, they now have four highly acclaimed brands: Domain
Saint Gregory, Monte Volpe Vineyards, Graziano and Fattoria Enotria.
Greg has made Yorkville Cellars wine since 1995 and has just
completed his thirteenth successful harvest with us. Greg has
special talents with blending techniques. His experienced palate
enables him to particularly enjoy the challenge of achieving
higher standards each vintage for our proprietor's blends: Richard
the Lion-Heart (red blend) and Eleanor of Aquitaine (white blend).
